On January 22nd, we asked Americans to take to social media and show Ukrainians that we stand with them on their Day of Unity.  The symbol of our solidarity was  the sunflower, Ukraine's national flower and a universal sign of hope and light.  333 sunflowers - one for each day the war had lasted - were placed on display at New York City’s Flatiron Plaza.
